AppStore

The development for Apple iPhones and iPads is still a high priority for us. All of our barcode evaluation apps were first developed for Apple devices.

Why the AppStore

Apple's AppStore, which currently has over one million apps, is extremely important for professional developers. As any software development should be cost-effective and with app development for very specific apps like ours, you need users who are willing to spend the low cost on our apps.

Android users often expecting that a free version is available, maybe with advertising. But since our apps are for a special purpose, we do not intend to work with banners or limited free versions.

Another reason is the number of devices. With Apple devices, we have about 10 different resolutions and device types. This offers a manageable effort to build optimized user interfaces. For the more than 10,000 different Android devices, this is much more complicated. This is the reason of AppStore first...

AppStore Barcode-Check

Our Barcode Check app for iOS devices has been on the market for almost 5 years with many satisfied users.
It is only available in landscape mode compared to the Android version, but offers more information in the result list.
Only this version offers the possibility to scan invers Datamatrix barcodes.

AppStore HIBC-Check

With the HIBC check, the evaluation of barcodes is always a bit more complicated, since the HIBC data is often split into two barcodes.
In this case they are linked by a link character. A barcode scanner therefore has to evaluate two barcodes in order to perform a complete data check.

AppStore RawCodeScan

Normal barcodes have only content with readable characters. This has changed with the Code-128 because this barcode contains 3 fonts that can be switched. It gets even more interesting with 2D barcodes, where you have many control characters in the code. Exactly these characters are shown by the RawCodeScan.
