The barcode scanner RawCodeScan displays not only the plain text in the barcode, but also the unreadable control characters. This helps you to gain some knowledge into the coding of the barcodes. In the current version, the focus is on the Code128 and the Datamatrix 2D code to make it easier to test for GS1 compliance.
While capturing the barcode, you can enable lighting, restart the scanner, and of course, display the barcode contents when the barcode is read.
The screen with the result of the evaluation shows the readable plain text in the upper area and the output with the control characters in the area below.
